Milltown

Milltown is a small village in County Galway, Ireland. It is situated on the banks of the River Clare, just 2km from St Anne's on the N17 road to Sligo.

Ashford Castle

Ashford Castle is located in the town of Cong. The film The Quiet Man, starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara, was filmed in Cong and the surrounding area including Ashford Castle. Knock Shrine

On the 21st August 1879 Our Lady, St. Joseph and St. John the Evangelist appeared at the south gable of Knock Parish Church. The apparition was witnessed by fifteen people, young and old. From this miraculous occurrence Knock has grown to the status of an internationally recognised Marian Shrine. Information on Knock Shrine
